This winter scape is starting its transition to spring when there is a mix of snow with the ambers and browns of the previous autumn. It has the added concept of imagining the branches as one would roots of a tree but here they reach into the sky rather than the ground below. This was a warm day in Mid-March in the Central Maine Highlands at Lake Wassookeag during a sunrise.
I am new to Pixels and Fine Art America. My background is quite varied. I am originally from Maine. My early creative endeavors started with drawing or painting. In my early teens I learned to play guitar and write music. I performed professionally over many years. That love never leaves you, by the way. During the times that I was on the road, I picked up photography. It was a way to keep the visuals alive and to explore the different settings that I found myself in. Nature and landscapes provided much calm and inspiration.
