This shows Mt. Katahdin in Northern Maine during mid July as seen from the Abol Bridge on the Golden Road. Mount Katahdin is the goal of most hikers who desire to go the distance to the Northern end of the Appalachian Trail. In the foreground is the West Branch of the Penobscot River.

I am new to Pixels and Fine Art America. My background is quite varied. I am originally from Maine. My early creative endeavors started with drawing or painting. In my early teens I learned to play guitar and write music. I performed professionally over many years. That love never leaves you, by the way.
