This golden image was captured very early in the morning at Compass Pond in north-central Maine during early October. This is right next to Baxter State Park and close to Mount Katahdin.

I am new to Pixels and Fine Art America. My background is quite varied. I am originally from Maine. My early creative endeavors started with drawing or painting. In my early teens I learned to play guitar and write music. I performed professionally over many years. That love never leaves you, by the way.
