The particular look that this Jordan Pond image has is the result of a 10-stop neutral density filter being used which allowed for a very long exposure of 15 seconds. It was a cold late October morning with rough wave action but the long exposure smoothed out the water surface.The strength of these type of images is not in the sharpness but in the unique colors and smoother water surface.
I am new to Pixels and Fine Art America. My background is quite varied. I am originally from Maine. My early creative endeavors started with drawing or painting.
