This is a sunrise viewed from Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park located in Bar Harbor, Maine. Even though the sun is hidden behind the clouds, it still creates some very attractive colors and blends with the addition of the fog rolling over the small out islands and Schoodic Peninsula on the mainland. This was taken a about 6:00 AM on September 3.

I am new to Pixels and Fine Art America. My background is quite varied. I am originally from Maine. My early creative endeavors started with drawing or painting.
