This is a sunset over the Bass Harbor Marsh on the southwestern side of Mount Desert Island. The view is from the little bridge that separates Southwest Harbor and Tremont along Route 102. The time was 7:22 PM on July 31.

I am new to Pixels and Fine Art America. My background is quite varied. I am originally from Maine. My early creative endeavors started with drawing or painting. In my early teens I learned to play guitar and write music. I performed professionally over many years. That love never leaves you, by the way.
