This image was taken at Upper Togue Pond in Baxter State Park in Northern Maine. The moon was approaching the western horizon on an early October morning. Some of the autumn foliage can be seen to the right.

I am new to Pixels and Fine Art America. My background is quite varied. I am originally from Maine. My early creative endeavors started with drawing or painting. In my early teens I learned to play guitar and write music. I performed professionally over many years. That love never leaves you, by the way. During the times that I was on the road, I picked up photography. It was a way to keep the visuals alive and to explore the different settings that I found myself in.
