The peaceful experience of paddling a canoe on a calm Maine link early in the morning is a life altering experience. This is at Lower Togue Pond in Baxter State Park in Northern Maine. Capture was at 8:36 AM on October 6.

I am new to Pixels and Fine Art America. My background is quite varied. I am originally from Maine. My early creative endeavors started with drawing or painting. In my early teens I learned to play guitar and write music. I performed professionally over many years. That love never leaves you, by the way. During the times that I was on the road, I picked up photography. It was a way to keep the visuals alive and to explore the different settings that I found myself in.
