This is a small mountain called The Beehive as viewed from the eastern end of Sand Beach in Acadia National Park, Maine. The photo was taken at 7:12 AM on August 26.

I am new to Pixels and Fine Art America. My background is quite varied. I am originally from Maine. My early creative endeavors started with drawing or painting. In my early teens I learned to play guitar and write music. I performed professionally over many years. That love never leaves you, by the way.
