This is a view of Southwest Harbor, Maine from the part called Manset. The unique look of the image is the result of it being a full 10 second exposure. This is what smooths out the surface of the ocean. Consequently, there are objects that were moving during the 10 seconds which will blur. That is the nature of this style. Southwest Harbor is on the southwest side of Mount Desert Island which is covered by a large portion of Acadia National Park. Image capture was at 8:31 PM on July 30.
