This is a matter of being in the right place at the right time. The ray of light broke through the clouds and lit up Moose Island in the middle of Moosehead Lake in Northern Maine. This was at 5:16 PM on September 29.

I am new to Pixels and Fine Art America. My background is quite varied. I am originally from Maine. My early creative endeavors started with drawing or painting. In my early teens I learned to play guitar and write music. I performed professionally over many years. That love never leaves you, by the way.
