This golden sunset was on the "Little" Lake Wassookeag. The spring-fed lake is divided into two sections by a causeway, seen on the horizon. This is in the small rural town of Dexter, located in the central Maine Highlands in Penobscot County.

I am new to Pixels and Fine Art America. My background is quite varied. I am originally from Maine. My early creative endeavors started with drawing or painting. In my early teens I learned to play guitar and write music. I performed professionally over many years. That love never leaves you, by the way. During the times that I was on the road, I picked up photography. It was a way to keep the visuals alive and to explore the different settings that I found myself in.
