Finally, the sun broke through the cloud cover just before dipping below the horizon. This sunset image was captured while on Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park on the coast of Maine in the US. The body of water below is Eagle Lake, also within the National Park. This was the last day of August.

I am new to Pixels and Fine Art America. My background is quite varied. I am originally from Maine. My early creative endeavors started with drawing or painting.
