This is a July 22, 5:39 AM sunrise captured on the eastern side of Mount Desert Island in Acadia National Park, Maine. This technique is the result of using a neutral density filter that cut down the amount of light resulting in a 156 second exposure. Otter Cliff can be seen in the distance.

I am new to Pixels and Fine Art America. My background is quite varied. I am originally from Maine. My early creative endeavors started with drawing or painting.
