This was a foggy and peaceful morning at Upper Hadlock Pond in Acadia National Park, Maine. This is on the north side of Northeast Harbor on Mount Desert Island, Maine. Local time was 7:21 AM on July 18.

I am new to Pixels and Fine Art America. My background is quite varied. I am originally from Maine. My early creative endeavors started with drawing or painting. In my early teens I learned to play guitar and write music. I performed professionally over many years. That love never leaves you, by the way. During the times that I was on the road, I picked up photography. It was a way to keep the visuals alive and to explore the different settings that I found myself in. Nature and landscapes provided much calm and inspiration. I moved to Florida for about 15 years where I learned the print and graphics trade, free-lanced in graphics and photography, and worked for some cruise lines including the Official Cruise Line of Disney World...
